Our retreat participants are those who have decided there are problems in the world that can’t be ignored. Instead of waiting for someone else to solve these problems, they want to learn the skills needed to solve them. Our Design Thinking for Social Impact retreats are designed for those who recognize the power of their own light to confront the darkness and how strong that light can shine when it unites with others. If that sounds like you, you have a specific challenge you’re working to address, and you’re looking to build a network of other social impact innovators, apply today.
WHAT WILL I LEARN AT THIS RETREAT?
Learn and practice the 8 design thinking abilities that will make you an effective Social Impact innovator.
Learn the baseline Design Thinking Process, which will help you know what to do next when you get stuck.
Learn to engage multiple stakeholders, even if they have differing viewpoints.
Learn to frame a multi-stakeholder design process so that your collaborators will try a new approach.
Learn how to get more information when your team is stuck.
Learn how to create small tests of your ideas to see if they’re the right path before committing a lot of time and money to following them.
Progress part of your own project and receive expert coaching and input from experienced facilitators and a network of other social impact innovators.
